Equality and non-discrimination are to be cherished and promoted in all activities of the Vaasa City Institutes. The objective is that promoting equality and non-discrimination becomes part of our institute community’s regular development activities and is integrated as a natural part of its everyday operations and decision-making.
The starting point is that in our institutes all students and staff have the same rights, responsibilities and opportunities for wellbeing, self-expression, and for succeeding and developing as members of the community. In our activities no one should experience being harassed, discriminated against, or otherwise treated disadvantageously.
