On-street parking spaces and parking areas managed by the City of Vaasa are divided into zones with corresponding parking fees. Parking in these areas is free on Sundays and public holidays.

The City of Vaasa rents parking permits for the following parking facility:
- Raastuvankatu 27 Parking hall: Full, queue possible
The price for the parking space is €55.00 / month.
Those using train and coach services as onward connections can park their car near the Travel Centre. Parking near the Travel Centre is available at the Olympiakatu parking area (zone 3), which is only about 150 metres from the Travel Centre. The parking area has direct access to the Travel Centre via an elevator.
Next to the Travel Centre, along Ratakatu, there is another zone 3 parking area.
Motorcycles and mopeds can be parked free of charge at Kauppapuistikko 9 (behind Hesburger).

Parking at the port became chargeable as of 5 February 2025 according to zone 3.
