Can’t sign in to Edlevo using Suomi.fi authentication? You can apply for a TiD ID and use it to access Edlevo.
The TiD ID is intended for guardians who do not have, for example, Finnish online banking credentials or a mobile certificate.
How to apply for a TiD ID
Fill in the ID application using one of the following methods:
- Submit the electronic application online.
- Contact your child’s Early Childhood Education and Care unit and fill in a paper application.
To issue the ID, you must prove your identity and guardianship (e.g. birth certificate, custody decision or an excerpt of guardianship information from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency). These can be presented to Early Childhood Education and Care service coordination or to the daycare manager.
How do I activate the ID?
You will receive the ID to the email address you provided.
You will receive two pieces of information by email:
- TiD user ID
- Temporary password
First sign-in
- Open the link sent to your email to the Edlevo TiD self-service portal.
- Enter your TiD user ID and the temporary password.
- Change the password to a new one of your choice.
- After creating the password, you can sign in to the service.
- Sign in with the new password.
If signing in does not work
- Make sure the username and password are entered correctly.
- Clear your browser cache and try again.
- Try another browser (e.g. Chrome or Edge).
