Vaasa skatepark is located in a central spot in the Onkilahti activity park.
The skatepark is located in the Onkilahti activity park on the Vöyrinkaupunki side. The concrete skatepark of about 1,000 square metres was opened in 2021.
Lights are on from 08:00 to 22:00.
- Skating is at your own risk.
- The skatepark is not a playground; it is intended for use by enthusiasts.
- Wearing a helmet and pads is recommended.
- Use of the park is allowed for skateboarders, scooter riders and BMX cyclists.
- Use of regular bicycles, motorised vehicles and toys is prohibited.
- Please do not sit on skate structures; use the benches or the edges of the skate area for sitting.
- Be considerate of other users: wait your turn and give others space.
- Put rubbish in the bin: let’s keep the area clean and tidy together.

The skate hall, maintained by the City of Vaasa’s Youth Services, is located in Huutoniemi. Use of the skate hall is free for everyone and it is open on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays the skate hall is closed, during which times the hall can be rented, for example for birthday parties.
