Mansikkasaari Beach is located in the Palosaari district, on an island called Mansikkasaari in the northern city shore. The beach has formed along the gravel road leading from Mansikkasaari to Pikisaari.
Mansikkasaari Beach is partly natural and partly constructed in terms of shoreline type. The sandy beach is 100 metres long. There is a trench near the shoreline, which means the beach becomes deep quickly. The depth is two metres eight metres from the shore. The beginning of the trench is marked in the water with a buoy line.
The area around the beach is parkland, which includes a small marina and a small kiosk during summer. On the other side of the island there are remnants of former shipyard.
During the swimming season, in addition to the buoy line, Mansikkasaari Beach has an information board, a life buoy with rope, a changing room, trash bins, a chemical toilet and swings.
The parking area is located right next to the beach.
Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
