Building Control charges fees for building permits and other Building Control measures in accordance with the Building Control price lists.
Below are the current price lists of Building Control.
The City of Vaasa’s Building Control fees were approved by the Building and Environment Board on 18 June 2025, and they came into force on 1 August 2025.

Note! The prices are the same under both the Building Act and the Land Use and Building Act. The only difference is the legal reference. The price list under the new Building Act also includes new permit types and additions introduced by the Act.
Fees in accordance with the Building Control service fee schedule are charged for tasks and measures that are not directly related to the supervision of permit-required building but which Building Control performs at the client’s request. The service fee schedule also specifies the fees charged for archive and copying services.
The City of Vaasa’s Building Control service charges were approved by the Building and Environment Board on 12 March 2025, and they came into force on 1 May 2025.
